Abair fhein oidhche mhor shunndach de dh'fhealla-dha agus de dhannsa is eile - clann a Dun Eideann agus a Sleite, cruinn comhla gu biadh is eile. Bha mi fhin agus Seoidin (is sinne Biorachan Beag, a bha a' seinn ar cuid ciuil airson dannsa Lasair Ealain), air ar beo-ghlacadh leis na bh' ann de thalant a-measg nan daoine oga. Seinn is ceol fidhle is eile, agus iad uile fior mhath. Ach gu robh mi fhein san sgoil a-rithst!

Light up the Young Fire!

What a great, joyous evening of fun and dance and lots more - children from Edinburgh and Sleat, gathered together for food and fun. Myself and my wife Sadie (we are Biorachan Beag, who provided music for the dance) were enthralled by what talent there was on display among the youngsters. Singing, fiddle music and more, and all of it excellent. Wish I was back in school again!

Boys and Girls I am just so impressed with both the range and the quality of your work. I have worked in education in the UK and beyond for a long time and was a Headteacher many moons ago. I wanted you to know that what you are achieving is of the highest quality. Keep up the fantastic work.
